DevOps Engineer (m/f)

In this position, you (together with your team-mates) will be responsible for keeping our development stack up to date. This includes using a wide variety of tools, frequent and incremental code testing and deployment, as well as writing documentation. As our kind of work usually is a shared effort, we expect you to interact well and frequently with others from within the team or elsewhere in our organization.

In short, we are looking for a swiss-army knife among Devs and Ops to create a cutting edge environment.

Your Tasks

  • Become an expert on our existing development stack
  • Work on and with CI/CD
  • Deploy, configure and manage our tool landscape
  • Develop small in-house tools or contribute to open source projects
  • Be open to learning (and teaching) new technologies
  • Happily act as an intermediary between projects and our IT teams

Your Profile

  • Good know-how of Linux
  • Ability to code and script (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Experience with version control software (Git)
  • Strong grasp of automation tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Experience with deployment and configuration management is a plus
  • Proactive and flexible mindset
  • Good command of English
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
