Key Account Manager – Aerospace (m/f)

As a result of our steady growth, we are looking to strengthen our Sales Division Aerospace with the aim of caring about our existing customer base and further expanding our market position in this area in addition to our technological leadership.

Your Tasks

  • Sustainable support and further development of existing and new, well-known Aerospace customers in Europe
  • Secure acquisition of strategically relevant new customer on different channels
  • Leading and supporting contract negotiations, create sales and business letters, proposal documents, offers and case studies for customers
  • Responsible for commercial project management
  • Establish acquisition plans for key accounts and development of structured market analyses
  • Perform account sales forecasting, budgeting and reporting
  • Close co-operation with Product Management to support continuous product improvement
  • Reporting and providing feedback on timely basis for the Management

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree required in either computer science or electrical engineering, experience with aerospace engineering is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales or business development role in a technical environment
  • Affinity for the Aerospace industry and market know-how
  • Ability to write and close complex offers and proposals
  • Knowledge of Ethernet-Based communication solutions is a plus
  • Ability to understand the technical and commercial requirements of customers and to sell complex solutions
  • Solving competency, self-motivation and communication strength
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 50,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
