Test Engineer Automotive (m/f)

TTTech Auto has been the core partner of Audi to bring the first Level 3 Autonomous Driving system in the world to series production. Our partnerships with industry leaders like Samsung, Nvidia, Infineon and Renesas underline our leading position in the Autonomous Driving area. Automated driving is at the forefront of technology and the hottest topic in the automotive industry today. Safety and reliability are the key topics to make this a reality.

Your Tasks

  • Create test specifications based on requirements, system architecture and design specification
  • Implement system- and integration tests based on test-specifications
  • Setup of new testing environment for upcoming projects
  • Further development and maintenance of the ADAS test infrastructure
  • Continuously adding new test scripts to test framework
  • Provision of test support and consulting for our development teams with emphasis on test tools, test frameworks and test automation
  • Test execution control in close collaboration with test manager and off-site test execution team
  • Regular reporting of the test results to the test manager and the project management
  • Continuous improvement of the internal testing process
  • Support the project team to reach the internal- and customer goals within the given timeline
  • Supporting developers in creating unit test specifications with methodical testing know- how
  • Support the customer on-site on request and work on trend-setting projects

Your Profile

  • Engineering degree in a technical field of study (e.g. computer science, electronical engineering, software-related discipline etc.)
  • Two to three years of experience in software testing of complex integrated embedded systems, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Relevant ISTQB certification is an advantage (e.g. Certified Tester)
  • Dedication to find defects and deviations to support the improvement of the test object
  • Know-how related to test frameworks and test automation development
  • Basic experience in using programming languages (e.g. C, Python, shell scripts) for automating tests
  • Practical knowledge of Jenkins is an advantage
  • Familiar with requirements management and traceability in test projects
  • Experience in the tools JIRA and PTC Integrity is an advantage
  • Very good command of English

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
