Test Manager Automotive (m/f)

Your Tasks

  • Managing the automotive test team
  • Lead, plan and direct the activities of automotive test engineers
  • Responsible for analyzing, generating, estimating and delivering test efforts and test plans within the constraints of time, cost and quality and acting as a responsible point of contact to the team
  • Manage and measure performance and delivery against work plans
  • Take corrective actions when necessary
  • Participate in evolving and improving the testing methodology across engineering teams building on automation and scripting
  • Drive continuous process improvement
  • Share and broaden your knowledge and experience

Your Profile

  • Engineering Degree in a technical field of study
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a test manager or lead engineer in a company developing electronics products
  • Profound understanding of testing and automation technologies from a technical and business perspective
  • Know-how with using of defect tracking systems and version control systems
  • Familiar with requirements management and traceability in test projects
  • Experience of embedded software testing and in using scripting languages (Perl, Python, shell scripts etc.)
  • ISTQB certificate, practical knowledge of Jenkins as well as automotive experience are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
  • Very good command of English, German is beneficial
