Device Security Expert (m/f/d)

Developing smart and reliable software and connectivity solutions for our innovative Industrial IoT products is our passion. In this technically challenging position, you will take over the responsibility for security feature implementation along the whole product life cycle - from gathering requirements and software design to effort estimation, implementation, bug-fixing and testing.

Your Tasks

  • Define, implement and test secure industrial IoT products
  • Implement chain of trust with secure boot and TPM support
  • Develop products according to the industrial IEC 62443 standard
  • Conduct threat and risk assessments
  • Define security requirements and corresponding testing procedures
  • Work closely together with internal stakeholders
  • Support the development and deployment of a security mindset and development process

Your Profile

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable background
  • Experience with design and development of IoT software and/or industrial control systems and/or industrial communication protocols
  • Profound knowledge about device security
  • Familiar with the IEC 62443 or equivalent security standard
  • Knowledge about security testing and relevant testing tools
  • Excellent knowledge in one or several of: C, C++, Python, Java programming
  • Know how about web and cloud technology, virtualization, real time systems and network communication
  • Very good English skills; basic German skills are beneficial

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
