Embedded Software Architect – Mobile Machinery (m/f/d)

Developing smart and reliable electronic control units and software platforms for innovative mobile machines is our passion. You will define the SW architecture within the AURIX2G platform of TTControl ensuring a portable, generic and modular concept, which will be used throughout our safety critical controller family for mobile machinery use.

Your Tasks

  • Development of software architectures for use in embedded safety related generic Off-Highway ECUs
  • Contribution to system architecture development in close cooperation with our customers
  • Feasibility analysis and requirements clarification with external and internal customers
  • Ensuring synergy and reuse between products of the same platform
  • Providing guidance for software developers
  • Evaluation of technology trends
  • Technical support and coordination of project teams

Your Profile

  • University degree in a technical field of study preferably with reference to computer science
  • Several years of experience in embedded software development
  • Profound programming skills in C/C++
  • Knowledge of UML or other architecture description language
  • Experience with safety-related development (e. g. according to IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 26262)
  • Experience with Infineon AURIX2G CPUs
  • Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems, preferably PXROS is advantageous
  • Being a good communicator and convincing with a high level of social and technical competence
  • Very good command of English, German is a plus

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe). We remunerate your performance with a minimum salary of 53,000.- Euro gross per year. We offer an overpayment in accordance with your previous work experience and qualifications.
