Embedded Software Developer - Test Focus (m/f/d)

In this challenging position you will work on series projects within the areas of automated driving, vehicle dynamics and electric drive functions. Your Tasks

  • Develop AUTOSAR embedded software to support time- and event- triggered communication such as Ethernet, SOME/IP, TSN and PCIe
  • Focus on safety critical real time systems based on high-end SoCs, microcontrollers, communication interfaces and state-of-the-art operating systems including Microsar and QNX
  • Taking over responsibilities along the whole software lifecycle, e.g. specification, design, development, testing and integration with a main focus on testing
  • Sharing and broadening your knowledge and experiences within your team, providing guidance for software projects and creating new ideas together
  • Be part of an agile software development team following the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology

Your Profile

  • Profound education in a relevant field of study -- preferably with reference to computer science
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in automotive embedded systems
  • Very good knowledge of embedded C and Python scripting
  • Very good knowledge of test methods and tools for unit and software level testing
  • Knowhow of communications: Ethernet, SOME/IP, TSN and PCIe
  • Experience with tools (e.g. VectorCAST, CANoe/CAPL scripting, AUTOSAR Builder, DaVinci Developer, Debugging with Lauterbach)
  • Proficiency in software validation (MISRA, HIS metrics, code coverage/unit testing)
  • Experience with V model SDLC e.g. ASPICE
  • Experience with AUTOSAR RTE is a plus
  • Experience with safety related SW development ISO 26262 in an agile environment (e.g. SCRUM, SAFe) is beneficially
  • Motivated and committed team player with solution-oriented working style and curiosity for innovation
  • Excellent communication skills in English

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe). We remunerate your performance with a minimum salary of 40.000.- Euro gross per year. We offer an overpayment in accordance with your previous work experience and qualifications.
