Functional Safety Engineer – Automotive (m/f/d)

It’s all about taking the right turn! Both for our customers and your career. Bring your knowledge about functional safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262) and accelerate the change now! In your role, you support the compliance with high-quality safety standards. Your integration into your job assignment will be facilitated by a personal buddy (mentoring) and the open sharing culture of TTTech Auto.

Your Tasks

  • Assume responsibility for the development of safety concepts and application of formal safety analysis methods
  • Support the execution of a product’s or project‘s safety lifecycle
  • Prepare for and participate in functional safety audits and assessments
  • Perform tool qualification and tool classification
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and tailoring of our software development processes according to functional safety standards

Your Profile

  • Technical education (e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related)
  • Sound experience in software development and software processes
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ISO 13849) beneficiary
  • Committed and reliable team player with an independent and precise way of working
  • Good communication and moderation skills
  • Solid English skills

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe). We remunerate your performance with a minimum salary of 44,000.- Euro gross per year. We offer an overpayment in accordance with your previous work experience and qualifications.
