(Junior) Licensing Automation Engineer - Development Tools (m/f/d)

In this position you will get a deep understanding of our software development infrastructure and of the respective development processes. Together with your colleagues you will take over responsibility for managing, developing and maintaining a reliable software infrastructure tool-chain in order to facilitate our development processes and support our globally located software developers.

Your Tasks

  • Automate license server setup (mainly Windows VMs)
  • Creation and continued improvement of license reporting and statistics
  • Focus on license administration and maintenance of software development related tools (compiler, static code analysis tools, …)
  • User friendly documentation on license usage
  • Support in client node integration
  • Insight on license conditions (geolocation, entity limitation) and coordinate technical restrictions
  • Coordination between stakeholder regarding licensing topics

Your Profile

  • Proactive and flexible mindset
  • Comfortable with collaboration, open communication
  • Act as an intermediary between purchasing, legal and licensing team
  • Prior Experience in Python and Powershell
  • Experience with license managers like FlexLM is preferred
  • Knowledge of Ansible for Windows is a plus
  • Excellent English skills

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe). We remunerate your performance with a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. We offer an overpayment in accordance with your previous work experience and qualifications.
