Junior Sales Manager Automotive (m/f/d)

Due to our steady growth, we are looking for a sales manager for the automotive sector with the aim of further expanding our market position in addition to technological leadership. In this function you will complement our experienced Sales Team Europe and bring with you both technical understanding and commercial competence. You will also act as a central contact person and interface between customers and our technical development teams.

Your Tasks

  • Support of our key account managers in the strategic acquisition and further development of existing, well-known automotive customers
  • After successful induction, taking over responsibility for smaller accounts and supporting commercial project management of large scale series programs
  • Responsible for the independent commercial preparation of tender documents (calculation, offer, approval documentation)
  • Continuous maintenance of the sales forecast, the CRM and reporting systems in coordination with other stakeholders
  • Participation in automotive series tenders, including coordinative activities
  • After successful induction, independent negotiation within given decision areas
  • Close cooperation with our development teams, technical project management and administrative departments (finance, legal, SCM)

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree with a technical and/or commercial focus
  • First Experience in the technical B2B sales, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Affinity for the automotive industry, electronics and/or hardware & software
  • Professional appearance, solution-oriented and strong communication skills
  • High degree of customer and market orientation
  • Team player with a strong sense for personal development
  • Proactive way of working, strong execution and self-motivation skills
  • Good Know-How of MS Office 
  • Willingness to travel in Europe (approximately 10-20%)
  • Very good German and English proficiency

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 36,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
