Key Account Manager – Automotive (m/f/d)

Due to our sustainable growth we are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager (m/f/d) in the area of Automotive in order to expand our market position in addition to our technological leadership. In this function you will contribute your technical and commercial skills to our Sales Team and act as an interface between our customers and our development teams in Vienna.

Your Tasks

  • Targeted acquisition of strategically relevant new customers
  • Sustainable support and further development of existing, well-known, international automotive key accounts
  • Responsible, commercial project tracking as well as development and implementation of individual sales strategies
  • Competent advising of customers and the sale of innovative and complex solutions for automotive series projects
  • Independent offer preparation and presentation as well as solution-oriented negotiation
  • Continuous maintenance of the sales forecast
  • Close cooperation with our technical project managers and joint responsibility for projects

Your Profile

  • Completed degree with a technical and/or commercial focus
  • Several years of experience in the technical sales of large B2B projects, ideally in the automotive supply industry
  • Affinity for the automotive industry, electronics and/or hardware & software
  • Professional appearance, solution-oriented and strong communication skills
  • High degree of customer and market orientation
  • Excellent Excel and Power Point skills
  • Team player with a high degree of assertiveness
  • Proactive way of working, strong execution and self-motivation
  • Willingness to travel in Europe and USA (approx. 30%)
  • Very good German and English proficiency

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 60.000,- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
