Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

Due to our sustainable growth we are looking for a Key Account Manager/in for the off-highway department with the aim to further strengthen our market position. In this function you complement our experienced sales team with your commercial skills and act as the interface between our customers and technical department.

Your Tasks

  • Acquisition of strategically relevant global accounts as wells as support and development of existing customers in close cooperation with the sales companies of Hydac
  • Development of acquisitions plans for our focus customers
  • Processing of tender documents in coordination with our technical departments
  • Bid proposal management (including complex development projects) and result-orientated conduct of negotiations
  • Coordination and conclusion of long-term contracts with focus customers / global accounts including the relevant internal departments (Legal, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain)
  • Careful and regular maintenance of forecasts as wells as market- and competition analysis

Your Profile

  • University degree in a technical or economic field of study
  • Experience in sales being responsible for large customers / KAM including pricing ideally in the area of special vehicles and / or Off-Highway  
  • Passion for technology, commercial understanding, strategic thinking, negotiating skills and excellent communication skills
  • High level of customer- and market orientation
  • Proactive attitude to work, flexibility and self-motivation
  • High willingness to travel
  • Very good command of English

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 46,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
