Project Engineer - Tools Development (m/f/d)

In this technically challenging role, you will be responsible for the development of our Customer Build Framework. Are you having a good understanding of the software development principles as well as good communication skills and a self-driven work attitude? Then come and join us! Your Tasks

  • Development of a Customer Build Framework as part of the MotionWise product.
  • Maintenance of the Customer Build Framework as part of the MotionWise product.
  • Roll out to and implementation of the Customer Build Framework in customer programs.
  • Adaptation of the Customer Build Framework to customer specific requirements.
  • Improve integration of the Customer Build Framework with the MotionWise product.
  • Improve the automation of configuration and testing of the customer build framework.
  • Integration of the Customer Build Framework as part of the Continuous Integration Chain

Your Profile

  • Basic understanding of development of embedded software with C
  • Software development principles and tools (Git, Confluence, Jira, ...)
  • Understanding the tasks of a build framework like Make, CMake, SCons, ...
  • Python programming
  • Knowledge of continuous integration idea and implementation using Jenkins framework beneficial
  • Basic knowledge of AUTOSAR and POSIX based systems beneficial
  • Professional communication with customers
  • Self-motivated working style

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of € 40.000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
