Python Developer (m/f/d)

Due to our sustainable growth we are looking for a Python Developer (m/f/d) to ensure the internal development of tools.  The System Team is a specialized Agile Team that assists in building and supporting the Agile development environment. Typically this includes the development and maintenance of the toolchain that supports the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
 

Your Tasks

  • Product Ownership of the integration & build tool suite, thus determining the further evolvement of the software
  • Development, usage and maintenance of the internal development tools in Python, SCons and CMake
  • Attend to a series of smaller tools and scripts across MotionWise Core
  • Maintain top down analysis extractor
  • Inclusion of Jenkins infrastructure and Integrity lifecycle Manager
  • Take care of the full software lifecycle for tools
  • Evaluate new tools and make sure used frameworks are state-of-the art

Your Profile

  • Profound technical education in a relevant field, e.g. HTL, University of applied Sciences (FH), preferably with reference to computer science
  • Professional experience with state of the art, high level programming languages (Python, SCons or CMake)
  • Basic knowledge in code versioning systems such as SVN / GIT
  • Use of Shell and/ or Batch Scripting and Graphical User Interfaces is an advantage
  • Quality Assurance of tools
  • Interest in processes and their automation
  • Good command of English

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 36.000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
