Quality Manager – Aerospace & Space (m/f/d)

Seize the opportunity for development opportunities and a diversified task portfolio by contributing to shaping the future of Aviation and Space programs as Quality / Product Assurance Manager for projects and products. Take on responsibility by assuring that the quality of our cutting-edge innovative products meets the requirements of customers and state-of-the-art standards. The willingness and potential to grow into a management position is a plus.

Your Tasks

  • Lead Quality / product assurance related to project activities and artifacts, including performance of project audits, documentation and reporting
  • Assessment of Q-related requirements and verification that requirements are met and processes are followed
  • Quality planning and quality support in product development and testing (electronics hardware and software)
  • Quality support for manufacturing and serial production, including monitoring and coordination activities
  • Interface to customers, support in customer audits, complaint management, root cause analysis, definition and implementation of improvement measures
  • Performance monitoring of suppliers

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree with focus on electronics, mechatronics or industrial engineering
  • Several years of work experience in development and manufacturing of electronic equipment and/or hardware-related software, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry
  • Knowledge and experience in quality assurance / product assurance
  • Communicative personality who appreciates working in an international environment
  • Team player with ability and willingness to take over coordination of team and working group activities also in informal environments
  • Excellent English skills

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe). We remunerate your performance with a minimum salary of 54,000.- Euro gross per year. We offer an overpayment in accordance with your previous work experience and qualifications.
