Quality Manager – Aerospace and Space (m/f/d)

Seize the opportunity for development opportunities and a diversified task portfolio by contributing to shaping the future of Aviation and Space programs as Quality Manager for projects and products, and by taking responsibility for assuring that the quality of our cutting-edge innovative products meets the requirements of customers and state-of-the-art standards.

Your Tasks

  • Quality planning and support of product assurance in product development (electronics hardware and software)
  • Definition of unit / component qualification processes
  • Support of project staff in Quality Management relevant topics; drive, coordinate and monitor related activities
  • Quality assurance of project activities and artifacts including project audits, documentation and reporting
  • Coordination of production partners in Quality relevant topics
  • Quality monitoring during the production transition and start-up phase and coordination of product release
  • Quality management of products in series production
  • Interface for Quality relevant aspects for suppliers and customers, including performance of supplier audits, support of customer audits and claim management

Your Profile

  • Technical education (M.Sc.) with a focus on electronics, mechatronics or industrial engineering
  • Several years of work experience as quality representative, preferably in development and manufacturing of electronic equipment
  • Work experience preferably coming from aerospace/ space or automotive industry
  • Experience in software and Chip IP development is a plus
  • Knowledge in applying quality tools (FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, Pareto, 5-Why, SPC…)
  • Experience in applying product quality planning methods (APQP, PPAP)
  • Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC 600, IPC 610)
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems ISO 9001 and EN/AS 9100
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying aerospace and space standards (IAQG AS series, DO-178, DO-254, ESA ECSS series) is advantageous
  • Communicative personality who appreciates to work in an international environment
  • Very good command of English

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 50,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
