Reliability and Safety Engineer Aerospace (m/f/d)

In this function you will work on the development and integration of safety-relevant solutions together with our customers in regard to system performance, functional safety, reliability and robustness. Our customers are the leading airplane and space integrators which gives you the possibility to participate in projects of tomorrows space vehicles.

Your Tasks

  • Development of safety architectures for aerospace communication components and networks
  • Performing of safety, reliability, testability and failure root cause analysis for flight systems
  • Generate safety analyses reports, hazard and risk reports, FMEAs, and other related documentation
  • Working closely together with all engineering teams to increase product reliability and safety
  • Create and maintain system level safety requirements and design documents
  • Being a valuable source of input for functional safety related topics
  • Contributing to the improvement of the company's reliability tools and processes to increase efficiency and reliability

Your Profile

  • University degree for technical studies (e.g. Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related fields)
  • Solid technical knowledge in the field of embedded hardware software systems
  • Profound experience in conducting safety and reliability analysis (FMEA, FTA)
  • Expertise in component reliability calculation and Single Event Effects analysis methods
  • Communication skills and customer orientation
  • Very good command of English

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
