Software Configuration Engineer - Expatriate in Shanghai (m/f/d)

In this exciting function you will support our development projects in the field of autonomous driving at Technomous, the joint venture company of TTTech Auto and SAIC Motor Corporation in Shanghai, which emphasizes the integration and development of the intelligent driving control central system (iECU). You will start with an intensive onboarding in our headquarters in Vienna in order to gain a deep understanding of our technology and core product. After this period, you will be ready for your exciting expatriation to Shanghai, enabling a global knowhow transfer and support of our development teams.  

Your Tasks

  • Definition and implementation of a configuration management concept and plan
  • Holistic tool administration
  • Creating and verifying release packages for delivery to the customer
  • Automation of static code analysis for customer specific components
  • Definition of the configuration management strategy according to the standards required by ASPICE and ISO 26262
  • Providing guidance and support junior colleagues in the R&D organization

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical field of study
  • At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in the field of embedded systems: MicroSAR, Linux, QNX and the Compiler gcc/g++, qcc
  • Solid programing skills in C/C++ and Python
  • Profound knowledge of AUTOSAR and CANoe
  • Knowledge of Vector Tools, Atlassian & other tools (JIRA, Confluence, Git, PTC Integrity)
  • Reliable team player with hands-on approach and good communication and intercultural skills
  • Excellent English language skills, German knowledge is a plus

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications, as well as an appealing expatriation package.
