Software Developer (m/f/d)

System modelling and coding are amongst our cutting-edge technologies. Do you enjoy implementing and enhancing software tests in the field of automotive? Particularly regarding the requirements for functional safety, robustness and energy efficiency? This is your chance to accomplish these goals with an international team in a vibrant environment! Together we develop complex tools that allow our clients to parameterize and configure our products.

 

Your Tasks

  • Strong focus on AUTOSAR modelling with tools like DaVinci, Autosar Builder and PreeVision
  • Devising and implementing new models
  • Change and maintenance of existing models
  • Training and teaching colleagues regarding model changes
  • Developing embedded safety-critical real-time software covering all stages: requirements analysis, design, unit specification and implementation, testing and validation
  • Creating architectural images from models
  • Long-term goal: devise a concept aiming to make very complex models atomic thus enabling teams to make changes on their own

Your Profile

  • University study or degree (e.g. FH) in a technical field related to electronics or software (e.g. Computer Engineering)
  • Solid experience with embedded software programming in C
  • Interest in devising and maintaining models, passion about reducing complexity of big models, ability to translate end-to-end knowledge into diagrams and graphical drawings
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR basic software, Embedded Linux, Ethernet, field bus systems (CAN, FlexRay), communication stacks and real time systems are beneficial
  • Motivated and committed team player with curiosity for innovation
  • Flexibility and a proven solution-oriented working style
  • Good English skills are mandatory, additional German skills are an asset

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 36.000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
