Solution Sales Director China - Expatriation Shanghai (m/f/d)

Due to our sustainable growth we are looking for an experienced solution sales director in the area of autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems in order to expand our market position in addition to our technological leadership. 
In this function you will contribute mainly your technical and commercial skills and understanding of the local market to our Sales Team and act as the Deputy Sales Director in our JV Technomous. You will be the main interface between our customers in China and our development teams in China & Europe.

Your Tasks

  • Contributing with your excellent understanding of current trends of OEM creating own software organizations & platforms and jointly tailoring our solutions for best customer fit
  • Bridge and align the JV teams with TTTech’s Shanghai & Vienna teams to efficiently develop domestic business
  • Managing the sales cycle from lead generation to aftersales relationship management with a focus on technology and commercial evaluation
  • Lead and support the sales team to acquiring strategically relevant new customers and partners and sustainably maintaining relationships with existing key accounts
  • Identifying customer needs, collecting requirements and developing business cases and proposals in close alignment with our development teams
  • Aligning customer activities with internal development teams and leading the contract negotiation
  • Aligning terms and conditions as well as contracts with our legal department and our customers
  • Regular reporting acquisition and sales forecast updates to Business Unit Management

Your Profile

  • University degree in a technical or commercial field of study
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within technical environment, mandatory automotive industry with ADAS / Automated Driving background
  • Understanding OEM and Tier1 development and industrialization processes
  • Eager learner to understand and apply TTTech’s unique safety platform Motionwise, software solutions and Technomous product portfolio
  • Professional experience with East-Asian OEM business culture is a must
  • Solution-oriented personality with customer focus
  • Proactive and positive team player with a goal-oriented way of working
  • Excellent command of English, Chinese language skills is mandatory
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 80.000,- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
