Systems Project Manager (m/f/d)

Due to our sustainable growth we are looking for an experienced project manager for the coordination and management of safety critical embedded system development projects for aerospace applications with the aim to strengthen our market position in the industry besides our technological leadership.

Your Tasks

  • Creating, tailoring and maintaining system project plans respecting the relevant quality standards
  • Creating and maintaining system level design documents
  • Leading and coordinating project meetings; managing project peer reviews
  • Coordinating the systems project team, as well as internal programme managers, external development and subcontractors
  • Coordinating and driving verification and test activities to meet product compliance
  • Ongoing and predictive reporting to the system manager and programme manager
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the system development standards and procedures

Your Profile

  • University degree in a technical field of study (e.g. Computer Science, Electronics, Informatics, Physics)
  • Professional experience in development of embedded hardware/software designs
  • Experience in project management and controlling
  • Knowledge in Aerospace quality- and safety- standards (ARP4754, DO254, DO178) is favourable
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus
  • Management personality with a pragmatic approach and goal-oriented way of working
  • Excellent command of English

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 50,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
