Technical Product Manager – Industrial IoT (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager for the field of Industrial Edge Computing / IoT with the aim to strengthen our industry-changing initiatives. If you enjoy working within an international team and want to contribute to unlock the potential of industrial automation, then we are looking forward to your application.

Your Tasks

  • Define product features through customer interaction and market research
  • Define solution architectures for industrial, Linux based edge computing systems with focus on security, safety and real-time
  • Participate in release planning and review
  • Support the sales team with technical expertise and knowledge of the product
  • Guide product marketing for optimal representation of the product features and benefits
  • Closely collaborate with the development team to align product decisions with development capabilities and software architectures

Your Profile

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field
  • Background in Linux system administration and/or software developer on Linux systems is beneficial
  • Knowledge of state-of the art high availability solutions and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes) is an advantage
  • Experience in IT-security technologies and standards
  • Interest in product management (experience with product ownership advantageous)
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Structured, self-motivated way of working
  • Very good written communication skills in German and English

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe). We remunerate your performance with a minimum salary of 53,000.- Euro gross per year. We offer an overpayment in accordance with your previous work experience and qualifications.
