Technical Team Lead – Time Synchronization (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • Keeping the technical focus on time synchronization (Intra- & Inter-ECU time safe synchronization, configuration of AUTOSAR synchronized time base manager, conversion mechanism APIs between different time bases, gPTP or AUTOSAR TimeSync protocol, etc.)
  • Setting an international, distributed team (up to 10 people) & knowledge build-up
  • Execution of team objectives to deliver best results (regarding quality, scope and time)
  • Pro-active mentoring and knowledge sharing (technical details, processes, best practices) to solve the technical issues
  • Clarifying technical issues & requirements by interfacing with the customer, 3rd party suppliers and the product development team
  • Team performance management in an inspiring & motivating way

Your Profile

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field
  • Senior-level experience as embedded software developer in automotive area (or relevant fields)
  • Excellent knowledge in safety-critical distributed systems
  • Profound understanding of AUTOSAR Synchronized Time-Base Manager and TimeSync protocol
  • Familiarity with standardized time synchronization protocols (e.g. IEEE802.1AS gPTP), C/S and S/R RTE communication
  • Knowledge of QNX or similar RTOS is advantageous
  • Experience in leading teams and organizing work on a team level
  • Excellent command of English and German
